Hi, I'm Sara

I’ve spent 15 years leading teams, overseeing leadership development and employee engagement, building business strategies and providing personal and career coaching for a major global brand.
In March of 2020, I took on my biggest role yet as a mom to twins. I weathered the storms of parenting in the pandemic, but things started to feel unmanageable when I returned to work.
The parenting support that was available was minimal, typically policy-based, and in reality, stopped as soon as I returned to work post-leave. These conversations weren’t happening in the workplace, but I knew that other parents were feeling the same way as I was—overwhelmed, burnt out and not set up to navigate this multifaceted transition. I began to get curious and consider the kind of support that parents like myself need to make the monumental shift from parent to working parent. It got me thinking about what other changes we experience at work - as leaders, teams, and individuals.
From there, the idea for humanhood was born.
Our offerings are inspired by my personal experiences as a leader and parent, and my background in corporate coaching, facilitating, leadership and employee experience.
